WK "service 4wd system"

Hello folks, new to the forum! ... I've just purchased a 2007 WK 3.0 CRD, 50 k on the clock, love the car but keep getting this message "service 4wd system". When I bought the car, it had this message coming up...the dealership put a new Transfer case position sensor on and it worked fine in 4low. A few weeks later the message comes up just when I try to apply 4low. Then it stays on throughout the trip. Can anyone help?

I today had the brake lights pack up blowing a fuse under the hood and the engine man light came on. My local garage plugged her In and reset her and nothing came up regarding the 4low problem...

Any help would be appreciated I just hope it's not a long list of things that could be wrong

This could be your issue, or there could be other items. I know that my service 4wd message is up and I've never had the N23 done. I'll be checking hubs and speed sensors, front differential sensor, and other items to see what needs to be fixed.

Just want to make sure that others who read this don't think only N23 can cause the issue, even though it is a probably source.
