Hey, when all is said and done with testing.... It would defiantly be great if you could take like a 5 second video of each color (preferable the color changing ones) so we can get a better idea of what it looks like as well as the dimming option and maybe post them on youtube. And great idea! I'm sure ill be purchasing some in the near future

I really wanted a factory color for myself, so I'll certainly try to make sure that's possible. It's also what the overwhelming majority of everyone else wants too.

Yeah, you'll at least be able to make a choice now. I can't wait to get some testing done!

Sure, I can try and get some video taken. That would be a great way to show what the controllers are capable of.

I honestly have no idea. I know the 2005~7 and 2008~10 WK's are different, but I'm not sure where the XK's fall in there. If someone can get me a few pics, and accurate measurements in mm of the very bottom of the cupholders, I'll see if the WK version can fit. If not, I can make some specifically for the XK guys.

Okay guys, I received a test controller today and played with it a bit tonight. Needless to say, I'm very happy. 20 colors, and 5 different levels of brightness for each. The color/pattern changing mode is cool, but really not practical. Haha, at least the option is there should you want it. I know everyone was concerned about matching the OEM lighting... No worries there, the green-white is a perfect match!!

I'll order a few simple connectors now, and weigh whether or not to add the small expense of a connector vs. hand soldering.

I certainly will man. Due to the switch to strips, I need to make a few revisions to my design. Externally it will look the same, but I need to make a larger pocket underneath. I'll be away this weekend, so it's looking more like Monday or Tuesday before I can fab a set.

Yes, as a matter of fact. I ordered a bunch of components from some overseas suppliers, but I probably won't get them for at least 2 weeks. I need to get bhawks28 a test set for the 2008+ WK's, but otherwise I'm just waiting on parts. I'm going to make these as plug and play as possible. So, I also ordered some 'Y' adapters and some male/female plugs. It should make for a pretty painless install. I'll update as the parts start rolling in.
