still have a few things i need to think out, but first thing you will need is 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" square tubing. In the next three days I will be building them.

As for prices I will not have a clue b/c our family company buys all kinds of steel stock bulk once a year. I'm just using up what we have laying around. We own a bakery and our maintenance orders it for projects around the the plant.

I did look at a few sites that you can order from, but they seem very expensive. For the stuff i am using they quoted 130.00 and then another 75.00...............just to many factors on what grade of materials and how thick.

where the 2 x 2 tubing will be mounted.

what it looks like installed

3/8" plate wielded on 2x2

heated up both ends to but an angle on them so they wouldn't get caught up on things

Painted!

Here a pic of them installed and used! They saved my butt a lot that day!!!! Its hard to to see them, but that was the whole point of making them the way i did. I wanted something that almost looked like it was put there at the factory. Once i get the jeep cleaned up i will post more pics of them installed. I also have a a front skid plat I made as well that I will post pics of.

The one thing i do need to change is to add a couple supports from the bars to the subframe, not critical but if you real hammer on them it would help. also if you are on a large angle that extra support would help.
