WK front power passenger seat modification - need advice and parts source

Originally asked this question on JeepsUnlimited and was referred to this forum for a possible solution
"We are going to modify the passenger seat in our '07 GC Ltd from 4-way to 8-way. We have done a lot of the homework, made all the measurements, and know that we 'should' be able to make it happen. We have an auto electric guy willing to make the swap for us if we find the parts and look about to see if there would be any known glitches to prevent this modification.

Our problem is finding appropriate parts! Aslo, here in the US, the 8-way is on the driver side. If we can get the assembly/mechanism (where?) for a US driver side seat, can we make it work with right hand controls? In UK and Australia, this car is sold with an 8-way driver seat on the right side. Does anyone know how we could find that particular assembly?

We are aware that the seat memory function would not work if we use a left side assembly on the right or install right side assembly. Is there any potential problem ignoring that?

This has been a torturous journey to find a solution. Mom needs the 8-way seat for her back. (There is an 8-way passenger seat in our '04 WJ - parts are definitely a mismatch to the WK). Our dealer suggested we trade it in on a Toyota. Not going to happen.

Ideas? Suggestions? Even prayers would be a help at this point. Would love to entertain any creative solution."

Could anyone here help find a parts import/export dealer who may be able to locate the right side assembly in UK or Australia?
