Here is the link to the ebay ones, curious to see if anybody has used them.

And no, sad to say its not a drawing of a ship. Doing a design on an intersection signal instead. haha

Those are nice. Wonder if those are worth the price. I wish I could have them painted a nice glossy orange or something.

I should've noticed it was an intersection signal haha. The curbing made it look like walls of a ship.

This is what the mount holes look like for the shackles. It's the 3 holes on each side that have the bolts sticking out. Had to put them back in there or I'll never see them again. Hope this helped. And thanks for helping me tank my productivity at work today. It's been fun.

Those are dirt cheap compared to the 4xGuard setup! Those will run you 200 if you don't have any OEM towhooks.

I wish I was designing a ship though! haha

Hit the search up for tow shackles and I thing there's a couple of threads about the eBay and the 4xguard setup.

Really easy to install? Would they be able to be disassembled to allow me to paint them a different color to customize them a little more?

Thanks for chiming in man. Its a great alternative and quite a bit cheaper. Did you have to buy mounting plates when you installed yours?

The eBay ones look like the mounting plates are an integral part which is pretty sweet if you ask me!

I sent the seller on eBay a message asking if the price as flexible on them and he said no. I was only asking because there was a make an offer button. But 100$ you get them but the plates are not welded or anything. For the 133$ price you get a finished product that is even primed and you can paint them to your liking on your own.
