Wj owner looking at Wk

I'm looking to upgrade my jeep soon but don't know what path to take. I like the look of WKs but I'm afraid the 3.7 doesn't pack a lot of punch becuase my dad has a Commander with the 3.7 and it's a dog with only 2" and 31s...I want to get 4" with 33s. Should I try to find a HEMI, or go different and try to find a Wrangler

I had a wj 4.7ho. Do not get a 3.7 just like previous poster said. U gotta go at least 4.7 again or if u find a hemi thats the way to go. Im very happy with my hemi although city mpgs suck. But i really dont care. Its good to know if you need it the power is there. One of my friends had has a 2013 passat another has 2001 inifinity i30. If it wasnt for my jeep we would have been stranded in Vermont after new years during that big storm. But i managed to get both of them out with my truck in 4low. That thing is a beast. If u can get one b4 the recall was done to it even better, otherwise i recommend that you get a flashpaq.

The only reason I could afford it was I was in an accident with my first car and got a lot of money in court haha, I love it.

I forgot that the WK had a 4.7 option, I will have to look into that although almost all for sale in my price range(10-12k) are all 3.7 or HEMI with 150k on them

Ain't nothin' wrong with the 3.7, it'll give you more than you think.

You can find a 4.7 in that price range just keep looking. Although not the best time to be looking as it's winter and prices are obnoxious

Like I said, my dads got a XK and it won't go anywhere off road. And plus the V8s got a low-lock option so that will help out a lot especially and the sand dunes

I second all of that.lol.I love the Hemi....insane power....sports car like acceleration.....passes everything but the gas station.....If you're serious about off roading get the qdII equipped jeep as well.Just last month in IL,in that awful winter vortex storm crap,my jeep pulled a f250 diesel with a heavy duty flat bed and bobcat on it out of a very deep snow drifted ditch the poor fellow had slide off into......I love this jeep....its a beast on and off road
