Wife needs a rim

Does anyone know of any other rims that will fit, pattern, backspacing etc. 2005 wk. I'm having trouble finding a matching oem and need something for a spare in the meantime. So I'm looking for anything that might be cheap easy to find at a jy, style doesn't matter. Also any oem rim in the Toronto area that might be available. As for the big dent in the rim, she "doesn't know how that could of happened".

Hi bought a full set of WK rims from a guy in Orangeville that runs a small rim/tire shop in Orangeville. I think his last name was McQueen. He use to have adds on craigslist with rims. You may want to look up anyone selling rims around Orangeville on Craigslist and this might the be guy. When I bought them he had a few sets and may have some one offs to sell

Check your local salvage yards.

Ok thanks. I've been checking CL and Kijiji for awhile, nothing but I'll try hunt down McQueen. Local jy B&D salvage wants $225, forget that.

For $225 you can get a full set of Moabs off CL. Some GCs came with a steel spare. Might want to look into that as well for a cheap alternative.

Thats what I said to him when he says $225. I don't want a full set only one, then he says thats the price for one. see ya. didn't know about the steel spare but thats a good idea, even a universal rim that will fit.

Damn that's almost retail. My local salvage yard charges $25 a rim

Well you can get rims for that much here too. Lots of WK's on the road but very few going to the crusher. So thats why I was thinking of a rim from something else that will fit.

Just pop the spare on or scan Craigslist.

Might not hurt to throw a "WANTED" ad up on CL.

wondered when you all would pick up on that

thanks for all the good suggestions to find a replacement rim, but back to the problem. It's taking awhile to find one reasonable so I was asking if anyone knows any other rim that will fit just to use as a spare in the meantime. the spare from the vehicle is a matching one and it is on now to replace the one she bent. so no spare right now. thanks again.

a 2000-2004 WJ 17" rim should fit, same backspacing as the wk . they are easier to find at the jy . wj's also came with a steel 17" spare that should be really cheap . Or as stated , you could buy a new steel rim for about $50.
good luck

wj rims, thanks for the tip. I have a spare set myself but they're 16's. By coincidence I was the jy today to get a battery for another vehicle and what do I see, a wj just came in but the wheels are off. What was on it though a westin full brush bar with the headlight guards, pretty new looking the bolts havn't even rusted. got it for $75. sometime you get lucky. I'll go back tomorrow and see if the spare is in it.
