We have rented Wranglers many times over the years in Ouray and Moab. Next friday we head to Ouray in our new GC, and I expect to be thrilled with the comfortable ride.
Next year, Moab? Sure would be nice to not have DUST covering us and everything we bring along!

I traded my '04 Wrangler Unlimited for an '07 GC Laredo 4.7 w/ QuadraDrive on my way to Camp Jeep last year. My rear axle ring, pinion, and TruTrac went out and I was going to be stuck 460 miles from home for three days and miss Camp Jeep to boot, so I traded the Wrangler in on the GC. It was the only Jeep (other than 2 TJ Wrangler X's which were too small) on their lot with skid plates and tow hooks. So I bought it and continued on. I have been very happy with the Grand. I love the power and ride. It also works well for me. The rear axle was the last straw for me with the Wrangler.

i passed up a wrangler for my WK at the Toyota dealer cause the WK was cheaper, and more comfortable for a daily driver. they wanted some where around $22K for the wrangler, and only $15k for the WK which they later lowered to $12K after i had complained about not having a warranty and finding out it was a prior rental after i bought it. reason i went to the Toyota dealer was cause they were the only ones willing to take back my hated upsidedown 02 Celica. hated that thing so much i took a 4K hit on the purchase price of the WK! asside from it not being really offroad worthy what with a single speed x-fer case, overall i am VERY happy with the purchase.

Liberalism stems from the notion that it's entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
I'm not planning on trading in my TJ anytime soon, but the KJ will get replaced with a WK when it's paid off (April, '09). The big reason is that I want to be able to tow (either the Limited with a CRD or Hemi). Every time I see a Limited WK, I . I think a TJ and WK will make a great combo!

My wife just purchased a new diesel 08 GC. I have a TJ. I really like her truck. I would NEVER trade the TJ though. I do not like the new model and the TJ, in my view, is the ultimate city car. Real bumpers front and back. Short and easy to manuever. Long live the TJ.
