Found a trail under some powerlines that was actually open to go on. They might not have intended 2s full size grand cherokee to be out there but oh well. Here's where it ended up:




This was not the route we decided to take.. that was about a 100ft cliff at a 65degree angle.




Not too too bad...

Got it towed to AAMCO today. My transmission has been acting up and now it won't drive unless its in 4low. It did this last time it snowed out hmmmm

Maroon Bells, pretty but very crowded.

Enjoying the photos but why are half of them "Forbidden" to me!? I am just busting to load up the jeep and head west to my son's house in CA. Can't just do it, still working. Someday....

I love ST. Elmo. I visited there two summers ago on a vacation to CO. I am actually headed back to CO on the 15th of July and I am sure we will visit the ghost town again. Probably spend a day at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort as well.

As for where I have taken my WK, I finally got some new tires a few weeks ago and had to take a trip to Whitetop, VA.



I was lucky enough to find some mud puddles from the recent rain...
