What was or will be your favorite mod to your WK?

My favorite addition was installing the 2.25 lift. It sets it apart from all the rest. I am looking to add some type of nerf or rock rail and brush guard.

Question Re: FIPK

Did you notice a change/response when you dropped in the K&N filter? I just bought one for $66 bucks and was thinking about returning it to buy the 63 series K&N cold air intake. So, did you notice any changes like more power or better acceleration? I'm curious.

Better acceleration and better sound when you punch the pedal.

I haven't posted this formally yet, but I bought a WK and will be putting on a 2.25 lift shortly. I can't wait.

So far, the Bilstein shocks. Well worth the upgrade in my opinion!

(Oh, and the LED addition to the rear cargo area. Jeep dropped the ball on the lighting back there!)

Tough choice for me. It was either the HID heads and fogs, or the upholstery work inside the cabin. Just little touches. I liked the HIDs for their function, but loved the interior because it was a one of a kind deal (I think).

I had my mechanic install all of them on my non-lifted Jeep. I could have done the rears, but I didn't want to deal with the fronts, so I just had him do all four. If I remember correctly, It was just under $500 total--about $300 for the shocks and about $180 in labor. Best money I've spent on any single mod! To me, the stock ride was too cushy/soft, and had too much body roll. I don't have any numbers, but to my eye, the Jeep looked like it was sitting about 1/2" taller or so, but I couldn't say for sure. The ride is definitley stiffer, but I don't think its harsh at all.

If you aren't happy about your ride quality, and you think it is too soft, then I highly recommend the Bilsteins! If you like the ride quality, but just want to elimiate some of the body roll, then I would just upgrade the anti-sway bars.

Rock Rails & skids.

Don't off-road without them.

Here are some shots of my upholstery. I did the seat inserts, headrests, headliner, window control switches, visors, pillars, door tops, and center console.
