what are the interior options on a wk?

I'm thinking about going back to a jeep but I am concerned about interior options. Basically the only color car I will drive is black or white with a black leather interior (anything else just won't hold up to my grease and grime).

I sold my 76cj 3 years ago that I had dd'd since I was 17 and bought a BMW 325xi which up until now had been a great car for me. I do really need to be able to tow which had me looking at grand cherokees and x5's as I am getting ready to relieve the 3 series. On the way to work today it appears my trans just straight up died in the bimmer which is leaving a bad taste making me wanna go back to the jeep. Anyways I just don't think I can handle that grey cloth interior and I'm not buying an srt8. Are their options for me??

haha I'd way rather have the limited gray leather on the wk than that brown.

Laredo X has grey and black "leather" interior available with black paint. Not sure on white. Black carpet and black leather steering wheel.

That's not gonna cut it to me there are two things about black interiors, they look awesome, and they are super easy to keep clean. So seat covers help the seats but they look stupid and you still have carpet to deal with and it won't match the dash now. I know it sounds really vein but you spend 99% of the time your around your car inside of it. I'm more worried about what I'm looking at than everybody else looking at me.

Why not go for a WJ or WK2? I've seen quite a few WJs with black leather interiors. That is, unless you're dead set on a WK?

hmmm thats weird, I avoid black interiors because they always look dirty to me ha. I guess it depends on what kind of dirty we are talking, black shows dust and streaks always. But ya you may have to move up to a WK2 if you want a full black interior.

well, there are a couple of options: some 2010 wk hemi limited have black interior with black leather seats, overland is white and black I think. Anyways, it is difficult to find BLACK leather seats, maybe you can get lucky and buy srt8 seats and change them like many of us have made, after 2008 they come in black. that will leave you with a dark slate gray interior with black seats which looks nice.
you can even change your steering wheel for a black steering wheel.
But I would recommend to go for a 2010 black interior wk, they look really good (but outside they are white, red... a black outside-inside I donīt know if it even exists.
Good luck!

Mine as well give a conclusion to this thread - in short I bought a manual x5! A couple months after making this thread I went on the trip of a lifetime to Europe (octoberfest, Amsterdam, Rome, etc.) My bro and I rented an audi to get around and take on the autobahn After driving a nice manual (german manuals just shift so smooth) I realized that I really am not cut out for automatics. So I went on a national search for one of the rare manual x5's. I found one that was basically exactly what I was looking for and moved on it. So far I am super pleased with my decision. It drives like a german sporty sedan and the interior feels much more like a german sedan than an suv. Of course it has the towing capabilities I need as well. It is unfortunate that this is really the last of the nicer suv's that will ever be made with a manual. I don't really anticipate ever selling this vehicle. It really throws people off when they see me shifting it and I'm so much happier driving a manual.
