It depends on your planned usage, budget, and miles you want to get out of them

If you're ok with spending money to get a nice tire than I don't think you can beat the bfg all terrains.

If you want to spend a little less money and get more miles out of the tires I love my bfg rugged terrains. They are aweosme on and offroad as well as rain etc. as long as you don't get into deep, thick, mud (when mine are bald and I get my lift installed, I'm 90% sure they'll be replaced with a bigger version of themselves (think I'm gonna go 285/70r17

If you want more tread for more heavy off-roading than go with an MT.

And if you spend all of your time on the road then go with a highway terrain.

Let's us know some more info and I (and I'm sure the others) can give you a more specific option

Well I will admit I'm mostly highway with the Jeep. I would not mind spending money on them. I want something that can take some trails with some mud and can deal with deep snow fairly well. They don't plow out streets where I live and I need to be able to grunt through it. I also just want a tough all around trail tire. I can foresee many adventures this year in the back 40. Will I have any rubbing or anything with a 255/70/17. I want to go as big as possible without modifying anything to make it work. Obviously the lift I did is modifying but I don't want spacers or fender rolling or things like that. The biggest I can fit without issues right now. Thanks!

I have 255/70/17 Nitro Terra Grapplers in this size and they only rub the swaybar at full lock. They've been great so far I got them a week ago. My wife had to swerve real fast in the rain to avoid a driver who wasn't paying attention and she said they did great. The first two days they feel weird. Kind of mushy but that went away in 2 days. Now they're solid. We took them in medium mud, unmaintained dirt road and they did great. I got all 4 for 720 bucks.

I was looking at that exact tire actually. They're good eh? Awesome, so you have to be full lock for it to rub? That's okay with me. Could you send a clean photo so I can see what it will look like on my unit? Thanks.

Yep it only happens if I do a Uturn or turning into a really tight spot. Otherwise I let up on the turn and it stops. It's not annoying just have to cognoscente of it.

This is the day I put them on

Here's one after we tested them in some mud

That looks amazing man, absolutely what I'm going for. That has the same Daystar lift that I have?

Thanks. I have the 2" RC lift. I'm pretty sure it's the same height. I don't know much about the Daystar.
