Tried to run my iPhone into the RCA plugs on top of the VES unit to see how much better it sounded compared to my streaming Bluetooth to find broken pins inside the RCA's. Grabbed a lighter to heat a section of coat hanger for 10-15 seconds, pushed the hot hanger into the hole and held in place against the broken pin for about 10 seconds for the hanger to cool and bond. Slowly pulled the hanger out with the pin attached. Sounds much better than Bluetooth. Just make sure you have your source volume all the way up or the VES won't find the source otherwise.

Was hoping for some major fun today with the bazillion inches of snow, and learned that the transmission recall service has disconnected my 4-Lo option. Another trip to the Dealer and waste another morning. Hooray for me!

Took it in for oil change tire rotation. While waiting service person comes out and says you still have the open N23 recall, I said no way do I want it done. Person giggles and said you must of done your homework reading about the problems..I say yep a real shame..

Took mine in yesterday for the two transmission filters and a fluid flush. Backed out of the garage this morning and noticed a puddle! I raced back over to the dealer tho have it fixed and it turns out the the mechanic (for lack of a better word) din't clean off everything from the pan drop yesterday! After ruining my morning and wasting 3 hours of my time, what am I supposed to do with that information?

Thanks!!! The ride is surprisingly better. I think the OE shocks that I replaced were pretty worn. Now that the Bilsteins are on there the rear end feels much tighter. No more sloppy feel over bumps.

I got the title the other day. Paid it off almost a year early.
