As promised: some pics of the plastidipped wheels. Sorry they aren't the clearest. Only had my Blackberry to take them with. As to the de-chroming process, I plan on plasti-dipping all of the emblems, and removing or painting the side chrome. I plan on leaving the grab handles in the rear chrome, and possibly the grill. Speaking of removing the side trim, does anyone know what type of adhesive is used to hold them on, and how to remove it without tearing up the door?

I removed and re-installed my trim recently. There's only a small strip of 3M tape around the edge of the trim but that's just to eliminate rattle. Thee are also clips on the back. I taped the door below the trim and very carefully used some plastic pry-bars. I'll see if I have some pics.

Edit: Here's the pics to give you an idea of what's under there.
