Finally ordered my new head unit! I chose the Kenwood DNX590 plus the wiring harnesses to make it work properly with the Jeep. I can't wait for Tuesday, my iphone will soon be communicating with the Jeep, as Steve Jobs intended! Pics to follow.

On an unrelated note, my Firestone Coil Rite air bags have developed a leak and I searched the whole system for the source. Those bags are a *****! If I didn't haul my 7K pound trailer, I'd scrap them. Luckily, the leak is slow enough that I can get from point A to point B before the *** starts dragging.

Got the Shadow kit from Duplicolor. Applied it to my chrome grill. When I get some more time, I will apply it to my chrome "JEEP" logos and possibly the bezel around my shifter knob and 4Lo T-handle.

Finally replaced my Curt hitch with the OEM hitch and bezel. Also got to use my dremel for the first time, very cool tool

I went from this:

Very happy with how it looks.

I used a dremel on the bumper too, but I only had the metal cutoff wheels handy and they just sprayed plastic (or whatever the bumper is made of) all over the place...and it was scalding hot. Looks alot better with the stock one!

Started a wash/clay bar/wax job on the old girl today... finishing it up tomorrow. Not bothering much with the wheel well liners, they'll just get muddy again!! Thinking of starting a build thread, but it'll prolly end up being the slowest build thread in the history of JeepForum.

Lots of news paper and lots of tape. And laser-guided-spraying (I hope).

Duplicolor Shadow on grill and shifter bezel. Duplicolor Vinyl/Fabric Gloss Black on cup holder area and surrounding radio.

Still need to get some newspaper to Shadow® the 4Lo T handle.

What's more impressive than the mileage is that your Jeep has 3/4 of a tank of fuel! "George" never has that much as he quickly burns his weight in fuel each week! Might be the 7K pound trailer, not sure.
