upgraded my reverse lights - now I can see what I'm backing into!

In the first photo, you can see the difference between the old one (left) and the new (right). The middle photo shows the new bulb on the left and the old one on the right - both are on. Shot @ dusk, not using a flash. The last photo was after dark, no flash, with 2 new bulbs illuminating the rear of my Jetta.

I need to upgrade mine to. Could you tell me which ones you bought?

Same thing happened to me couple of weeks ago. Finally got around to putting more motor oil in and I still have the light... This is my only weekend to attempt to fix it because I have to drive it back home tomorrow and back to college on Monday

I needed a deep 1 + 1/16 socket (I'll check when I get home). Took longer to figure out how to get the connector off than it did to change the sensor. Max 10 minutes with all the tools

1. Take of splash guard
2. Disconnect the harness (push the red tab out and press down on the tab at the back of the connector and it slips right off)
3. Remove old sensor (a little bit of oil will drip out, don't worry)
4. Put the new one in (never found any torque specs so I just tightened it about the same as what I felt like it took to take the sensor out)
5. Put the splash guard on
6. DONE!

OME HD lift is on. Wheels, tires and spacers on tomorrow and I have an appointment Saturday morning for an alignment. I can't wait!

Very NICE!! I noticed that all wk with super lift rear stance doesnt look right. I d love to get lifted if rear stance are centered like front.

I've been looking at other lifted GC's (WJ's and WK's) and they seem to have the rear axle forward of center.

Replaced interior blower motor after blowing three resistor packs in about a month. Hopefully this will take care of it!!
