Busy weekend...

Made a magnetic mount for my tablet to replace the Ram Mount attached to the passenger seat. Not sure if I like it yet though.

Also trimmed the back of the hitch as much as possible to fit my 31" spare but it still doesn't want to fit. I was about to remove the heat shield at the other end to maybe buy more room but then the winch completely jammed up. Game over.

Last, I've needed to work out some subtle clunking in the front that appeared after installing the OME lift so I drove around for a bit without the sway bar. Unfortunately the clucking was still there but interestingly it seemed like the steering was not pulling to the right with the road crown nearly as much, or at all (it was very pronounced after the lift, even with alignment). I'll have to drive it like this a little more and make sure it was not my imagination!

Finished changing the water pump and replaced the oil pressure switch. And finally cleaned all coolant off of my engine. Doesn't smell every time I drive it now! Hopefully this is the last of my cooling problems for another 100,000 miles (new radiator, hoses, pump, thermostat, belt, and all fresh coolant).

Cleaned the throttle body and idle air control valve this morning. She's idling and running better.

Probably won't have it back until tomorrow, but I'll post up some pics.
did you replace the whole front lower control arms or just the balljoints? I heard the ball joints aren't serviceable..

Actually, due to a missing and difficult to source part on the UCA uniballs, they gave it back to me after a week without any work being done on it. Now we're checking into a couple of options.. can custom manufacture the piece.. or do some modifications on the knuckles so they accept standard/generic parts..
Guess we'll see which is less $$.

I like them. They fit well and keep all of the dirt contained then easy to remove and clean. I just got the cargo liner so need to install it and see how it fits.

Bummer, I hate when shops have your jeep for a week and haven't installed anything yet. I had the same problem with my transfer case being rebuilt.

So, $185 for the custom machined and hardened piece to replace the one that's gone MIA.

"Installed" my new floormats. I use the term installed loosely since they just dropped right in and fit perfectly (weathertechs). Also, after changing my waterpump I seemed to have regained a few HP. Sure feels faster!

Still waiting for my gibson exhaust to arrive
