Finally got to use my new tires. I also can stay dirty for a few days.

Followed another lifted black WK up I5 past Everett...anybody in the Seattle-Everett area with a black and green mountain bike?

Also a video just because it was fun:

Sorry for no pictures... One of my wheel nut was stripped badly. So, tried to use bigger sockets, lock socket and nothing works. So, i drilled and finally got wheel off. No damages thankfully! So, I installed new stud and nut... got myself some beers fix

Been a fun holiday weekend for the WK.

I installed new unit bearings, rotors and pads on every side except the front driver side. I end up screwing up the threads on the axle on the front driver enough that the axle nut won't thread right. Great, so now I have to replace the axle because of messed up threads. While I'm at it, might as well change the other side that's been throwing grease every since we got it.

Well now, of course the strut fork on the lower control arm is seized inside the bushing. I take it to a shop thinking that they have some tools with enough balls to break it free. Wrong. Now the shop has to destroy the strut fork and bushing then put new ones in.

/rant

At least the guy running the shop is a cool guy that's big into Jeeps and wheeling. Looks like I found my guy to do my 1 ton regearing for my WJ.

Thinking about trying to install the new pioneer app radio 3... Anybody have any experience with it? Is it worth it?

Really benign maintenance work: Changed oil & filter and N23 recall FDCM flash this week.

Overall, the WK HEMI continues to run well at 104.8K miles.

I heard on at least the older units (2,1) that part of the UI was annoying when it came to scrolling through contacts and stuff. I love the idea of the app radio though I want to play with the third one to see how it's different
