Got my sway bar bushings changed just before the thunderstorm hit. Also pulled off my 4X front guard and mounts as the powercoat is almost all gone. I'll pull off the matrix parts this week too, as they are pretty rusty. The hoop is rust free surprisingly. Not sure if I'll get them repowercoated or just paint them with a bedliner type paint.

Had tire rub. Made 4" SL into 6" SL. No more tire rub.

And preview: Phase One.

Sorry for blurry driving phone pic

Thanks! It was actually the 2nd attempt. I started with a 4" superlift and thought since the geometries were all close to stock with the drops I could fit a 2" daystar BB in there without issue.

Well geniuses that we are... we put the 2" spacer on the bottom and both the leveler spacers from the SL kit and the BB in and I ended up with 27.25" in the front and 26" in the back. LCAs were at horrid angles, severe bump-steer, and the coils were so ridiculously pre-loaded every crack in the road felt like a speed bump (and I tore an axle boot).

Ended up we took out the 2" puck in the front, and left the extra leveler spacer from the BB combined with the extra room for coil stretch from the flip strut mounting plate (also BB) gave me the extra ~1.5" I wanted in the front. So now it sits 25.5" in the front and 26" in the rear and still rides stock, maybe the tiniest bit stiffer. Immediately took a 6 hour drive with it and couldn't be happier.

Good thing I'm tall cuz it's hard to get into this beast. Especially when mine (to the left) is still stock.

I also got his stock wheels (which had better tires) put on, instead of my chrome, for the winter.

Installed aspen creek hood mounts today. Anyone doing this, don't do it by yourself if you have a short temper lol. I will have lights in tomorrow from seward offroad and will be installing them as well. Pics to come!

Yes aspen creek. Installing by yourself is very difficult since you have to align 3 things and put a bolt in with only too hands
