I paid her off!! Signed the contract May 19 2009, brand new, maintained her thoroughly, and just made a 13,200 payment to end the madness! Mine all mine! Let the mods begin

CRD oil and fuel filter change....first time, definitely be easier the next time, about 2 hours...removed the plastic (2WD) belly plates to get at things....good for another 10K!

Hey, anyone know what that big chunk of metal bolted to the bottom of the rear diff is on a CRD? Seems to have rubber washers on it too....

Replaced heater blower motor/fan sub-assembly and the side trim piece on the lower driver's seat.

Parts = $255 ; labor = $0 ; time = 1.5 hrs. Personal Satisfaction = priceless.

jjarvis, those mats look sweet! Grey was okay, but the black really sharpens the focus! I have the same color, front and rear. If you really use your mats (like I do), they'll start to look grey.

I think I need some of those floor mats now they look much better than my stock ones (which are definitely not stock for a grand cherokee so I'm not sure how they got in there).

As far as doing something to the Jeep, I finally went down and ordered some wheels and tires for the OME HD I put on a month ago (it has looked pretty silly with stock wheels/tires). Also ordered some F150 MLLs for the back to level it out / bring the back up a bit. I'll post some pictures when I actually do something TO my WK!

I second that. I really love my quadratec mats. They look great, the grooves work and look great. Cheaper price, but still high quality. I think I prefer them over the weather tech ones just because they have thicker grooves. They look like they would retain more water. I get pretty damn dirty/wet/muddy from my work. And I made it all winter driving in my work boots, without getting a single drop on my carpet. And the mats wash right out.

Finally got the OME HD on, rides terrific.
Stance looks and feels just like the Jeep should now.

Before;

After;

Will have to do pinch weld mod. although the rub isn't that bad.
