Traded my 02 grand Cherokee in on this 05 Laredo yesterday. I need to get some better pictures. Definitely an upgrade over the 02 I had.

Thanks! This can be a cheaper solution for sure. The caveat is that you need to be willing to do some modding for fitment, and then be willing to play with the tablet to find a setup that works for you. I've been using mine a few months now, and have tweaked quite a bit. I wanted to make sure the most frequently used apps were easily accessible, and that the info I wanted to see was easily viewable. Last weekend I added the custom buttons and finalized the workable layout. Heck, even last night I did some more changing. I swapped out the Jeep logo for an ORT one.

I also mounted my CB handset. I just used a stick on clip and put the breakout box under the driver side dash panel. I wish all installs and mods were that easy...

Spent the afternoon cleaning the jeep, and wired up my xm radio. Anyone have ideas for an aftermarket head unit for this thing? Its an 05 Laredo, right now it just has the single disk CD player.

Very nice! I'm liking the ORT logo I have the contol box for my CB in the same spot. Out of sight and out of mind!

Finally finished the SA Sliders;

Stock Height.

Painted rockers with duplicolor bed liner. Coated sliders with herculiner.

I'm not sure I'll even try to modify the plastic rocker covers, thinking they'll just trap mud and snow in the crevices and lead to more rust?

These things are really stout and should enhance side impact protection.

Thanks, I'll have to get used to stepping out wide when I exit or the snow will ruin my trousers! HA.

Over the past few days I've

1.) Bought 265/70/17C Duratracs and had them mounted on some Moabs
2.) changed the Tcase, and axle lube oils
3.) changed the engine oil
4.) had my mechanic do an inspection to make sure everything was looking good
5.) bought and installed the front MOPAR skid, bought the MOPAR Tcase skid
6.) bought an OME HD kit from Kolak,
and
7.) ordered the 4xG front guard.

All I need now is front recovery, and I'll finally feel safe to hit the trails with some aggression!

Also, Jeeps are expensive.

Made myself a "custom" grille. Same idea as the expanded sheet metal style but I used 16 gauge perforated steel. Painted it black and left the outer shell khaki. I would post a picture but I'm on my phone and images are too large. Maybe tomorrow ill load them up on the pc.

In the middle of an oil change and I realize I bought 10w 30 instead of 5w 30. Will this affect anything?

No you will be fine. The difference between 5w and 10w is minimal. Most dealerships use only 10w30 even when the vehicle calls for 5w.
