10,000K? Isn't that kind of purple? Wouldn't 4000K be even brighter?

4300-5000K puts out the most light, but some guys prefer the blue/purple look over function. In SoCal the cops will give you a ticket if they are noticably blue.

Yea 10k is very purple and puts out almost no useable light.

Installed the front RC 2"

So today I installed the 2" RC lift. It got to hot by noon so I am installing the rear tonight. Here are some pics and the last few will show you a shortcut (that is reasonably safe) that will let you swap the fronts out in about 30 min each. Figured it out at the end of 2 hours installing the driver side. Only thing i left out is that you need to use a jack to raise the hub assembly to reconnect the UCA. Not a big deal, just have to wrestle it into place. The passenger side took me about 40 min from the first lug off to the last one torqued.

Fixed the air recirculation actuator gear. Dont know how long its been broken, but probably quite awhile. Decided to use JB Weld in the gap on the old hub to make it more like the replacement solid style. Seems to be working so far. I'll update things if my repair fails to hold.
Here is a picture (not mine) of an old broken gear and new solid gear.

Humm, looks like something that could be reproduced with a 3D printer

Thinking this hurricane might make for some street driving fun. Really considering a snorkel but need to cl go custom for a cheaper alternative to what's out there. Maybe pvc in the Fender well back and a cheaper plastic one unless I could try one from a wj

All HIDs are illegal unfortunately... as bad as I want some better lighting I don't want a ticket every time a cop sees me here

I purchased a 10000K HID Kit and they have a Blue hue to them

12000K is Purple

As far as unusable light... I disagree. I think this is a huge improvement over stock bulbs for both clarity and distance.

Just my $0.02
