Took off the wheel guards and like someone else said it looks lifted now. Wish I took them off three years ago. There is marks however.

Also quick question if someone could help me out. I want to paint or plasti dip my rims, is it safe to remove the wheels with the stock jack and wrenches it comes with or is that a bad idea. Would I need to use a torque wrench?

Just bought a 2007 Commander. Just got it home yesterday. Goes quite nice with our 1997 TJ, 1996 XJ, 2003 Grand Cherokee, and the 1967 J2000.

Ya that was me. I have the marks too. Too bad MOPAR never thought of the simple idea of applying adehsive tape to the paint before installing the guards, like other manufacturers do. I am confident the marks will buff right out though.

Here you go... After removal, a faint light line was left of the rearmost horizontal line of each guard. Nothing major that a dab of wax and some elbow grease wouldn't eradicate

Bro don't keep buying them. If you flex your gonna keep ripping then off. And thats a secondary seal, you still have the main door seal. Just go to oreilly's and get some rubber weather stripping and make one yourself. Cost $14 for a roll.

Bought pro comp 7005 wheels on march 27. Still haven't received them! 4wheelparts said they will have them in stock by the end of April. Wtf

O btw the guy at the parts department ordered the hole door seal gaskets. the ones I was talking about are $25/each

Ya thats them. At the MOPAR accessories store they are referred to as Splash Guards.

They greatly diminish your ground clearance. I tore one off once while crawling through knee-deep snow.
