Yea man I think on the 08s they went to a single turn, brake, running light and a back up. 07 and before it was a break then a turning light and a back up. And both red lights came on when running lights were on.

Dropped off at dealer so they can blow smoke up my a$$ (tailpipe ) to check (again) for an exhaust leak. Since everything from the engine block back to the muffler is all new (and they installed each genuine MOPAR component), seems unlikely, but......Chrysler knows best.
Gives the HEMI a chance to talk with other HEMI's to see what's happening. Hope there isn't too much trash talk with the 4.7L V-8's and 3.7L V-6's........

The dealer pressurized the exhaust to 10 psig!!!! Found a miniscule leak at the passenger side manifold-to-Y pipe joint. This was a cold test. It had previously been done hot with minor leak at Y-pipe to muffler joint.
FYI: Jeep no longer uses a hi-temp gasket at the manifold outlet joint; just a flared end and ball joint with clamps. IMHO, an asbestos gasket would be better there.
This Grand Cherokee is way too sensitive to be a robust road machine, let alone an off-road machine.
