First thing I do when I get home from a quick oil change is check the oil level, even though I watched the stuff being poured in. I'd check it in the parking lot of the place if I could work up the nerve.

On Sunday I replaced all 16 spark plugs in the hemi with a fresh set of Autolite iridiums. The last set went over 90k without a hitch.

Today I gained 20hp from the armadillo.; o)

Replaced my rear glass struts and it practically hits me in the face when I hit the button...much better than before, when I had to force it open by hand

Perhaps I should look there for my missing mileage. I only average 14-17 city/highway. Might also be my toes in the injectors, but you gotta love that smooth, effortless Hemi power!

Swapped out the stock reverse lights for the Cree LED ones so I can actually see backing up now..

New on the left, old on the right for comparison

and all finished up...with a cameo appearance in the bottom right by the corner of the soft top on my '99 TJ

That is quite the difference! Better watch out, or jet planes will be landing in your back seat! ROFL

Yes please document it! I did some looking and a 7 inch tablet might be a bit too small. I may want to get something like a Nexus 10 and sell my Nexus 7. And when you get the project finished, I'd love to see it!

Alright then! I'll start a dedicated thread once I have a little more time. Right now I'd rather work than log. I am taking pictures of everything though. After seeing the 10" tablet next to a 7". I just would not have been happy with smaller. It was fine in my TJ install, but not here. Keep in mind that if you do something similar to what I'm doing, you can't have a tablet wider than 10" (actual horizontal width), or it won't fit between the vents.

I did make some more progress tonight. What you see is the tablet in place. Externally, everything is finished, internally... well, not so much. There's a lot of work that still needs to take place behind the tablet, and that's gonna take a little time.

Only have mine a little over a week, it's not due an oil service for 6000 miles but I took off the engine cover and had a quick snoop around, checked the oil level, had a peak in the power steering reservoir etc etc.... than went for a quick spin and drove on some soggy terrain, only had trainers on so this was the best place to get out and take a pic ...

[IMG][/IMG]

Didn't need to put it in low range anywhere but I did anyway just because
