I have not had any major $$$$ issues. The biggest repair was not knowing about the front differential mount issue on these, and letting it get to far gone, and popping. Which then caused me to strain the transfer case and stretch the chain. So since that time, I make sure if the "pop" starts on the front end, to change the mounts. I have changed them 3 times. I am not a Grampa driver, but I also don't go off roading. I use it in my delivery business. I have put 99% of the miles on the Jeep myself. And I have done 99% of maintenance and repairs. Almost all repairs are done by me, except tire mounting and alignments. And once I had to pay to have AC compressor replaced. If I hear a tick or a squeak or a thump, I investigate, and usually replace things before they go completely broke. Just replaced the original inner and outer tie rods Saturday, and they really were not all that bad to begin with.

I have used Royal Purple fluids in everything for about 200,000 miles now.

I really wish these engines, or the computer, could really tell you the engine hours. Because even though I have a lot of miles, I know I have a lot more idle time. I always have it running when I am out and about. My alarm that I had installed allows me to lock and arm the Jeep while it is running. So it stays running for air or heat purposes.

Overall I am very pleased with it.

If you look back on a thread of mine, I had some "vapor lock" issues, that I have figured out to be an issue with ethanol gas. So I no longer use ethanol gas. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f67/f...3-7-a-1428157/

I went by and checked on her at lunch, still in the body shop!

On a positive note I did get a new bumper cover without the chrome trim piece so that makes me happy, and she has quite a few less dents and scratches on her. Hopefully they will be done tomorrow or Thursday!

I've been playing around with my Motorola Xyboard 10.1 for the past few weeks, and although I wasn't planning on starting my tablet install yet, I just couldn't help myself. I figure this is basically the calm before the storm, and I wanted to take advantage of my time. Especially since I'll soon be getting all my parts, I'll have to concentrate on the LED rings for everyone. I'm hoping this should take me a couple of days, and I'll start a formal log when I have a chance. For now, I'll just post a few teaser pics.

The Xyboard.

The OEM bezel before cutting.

Finally, what you see here is the culmination of a custom CNC'd bezel and some quality time with the Dremel. The tablet will slide in from the top, just directly behind the new tablet bezel. I'm not anywhere close to being finished cutting or fabbing, so you'll just have to wait to see the rest of the details.

Thanks man! I'm hoping to get a lot more done tonight. Next up is to cut and clean up the slot on top. Then I'll shape the new bezel I cut so that it fits flush with the outside of the OEM bezel. After that, I need to remount the radio back a few cm and make a bezel to fit around it. The idea is that I can pull the tablet out, and use the radio no differently than before.

Early updated my sig but I get my Sahara wheels and duratracs tomorrow I'm only paying $260 for everything thanks to trading with friends. Next up Monroe LLs and OME MD Springs. I may just use my RC spacer instead and get longer shocks

I'm very happy with my OME MD, 2" spacer, and longer Bilstein shocks!
