Put a straight pipe in instead of my old muffler. Sounds nice and throaty although not very well represented in these videos. You get the idea though...

So it's a straight pipe with a resonator at the end? Just no muffler?

Reso is before, then straight pipe, then no muffler

Drove home from the airport today (normally 2 hours, took 5 because of weather). The ole beast did great, even passed a few plow trucks!

George and I spent the day washing and detiling what didn't get cleaning last night. The weather sure didn't want me driving my new Jeep home in bright sunshine, as per the norm here in AZ. Also, I took him down to Discount tires to get new rubber. Went with the Cooper tires 245/65 R17's on the stock Limited rims. When I got home, I ordered the new third brake light from Just For Jeeps. Should be here in the next day or so. AND I bought all new lifters for the hood, lift gate, and the lift gate glass! It's just plain embarrassing to have to hold those things up when loading at the store!

Now how good does the tailgate come up? For instance my brothers car essentially lifts the door for him, where with mine I have to lift it all the way up and it holds it. Just wondering if I replace those if I wont have to do as much effort to open it.

If you get the right ones, they do most of the lifting, once you get it statrted, of course. As if there was any doubt, I am all about making sure the vehicle is prestine and factory. They make lifters that do like your brother's, but I'd worry about the long term affects on the hinges and so forth.

Alright thanks, I didnt want to drop the money on it, if mine were working correctly. I have to lift it all the way up with quite a bit of effort and then it will stay. I just figured I was a wimp. I also am a "keep it factory" kind of guy. My dealership loves me...

Just for jeeps isn't really a deal. In fact your are probably paying more after shipping than it would be from your local dealer.

Www.mopar-wholesale.com is the cheapest I've found when looking for parts.

Got my lift supports from ebay. Been going strong for a year now and half the price. They still open the hood and lift gate for me lol. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40

Finally got my rear wiper working, believe it or not I just put the arm on wrong. So the motor was cutting off for protection...I feel dumb.
