Yea I found that keeping traction control off was much more effective, mostly because of the rev limiter being deactivated. Even though I don't have 4Low I was able to get through about 2 feet of snow going down the driveway without a problem.

Well it was half my fault, I tried going up a dirt hill most likely with bot enough speed. This is my first big storm in this truck, hemi limited, my last was 99 wj V8 and it seemed to like being rocked in and out of D and R more than the 06.

Also saw in the snow that I have a small oil leak, so I got that going for me too

I baby mine by washing it, waxing it and change fluids consistently. I finished both diffs and transfer case fluids right before the storm lol. My next project will be de-rusting it and getting Por-15 for the underbody. That should be fun

How do you plan on "de-rusting" it. I'm interested

Well by de-rusting it I mean cleaning, some fine wire wheel (only if needed), and I'm going to try putting Evaporust on it with their towel method (by soaking the towels in Evaporust and wrapping whatever you want to de-rust) Evaporust has worked awesome on my skid plates and bolts, so it's worth a try on a little bigger components lol

I picked up a set of Wrangler 5 spoke wheels for mine today...well, I have to go pick them up still. $200 for all 5.

Always liked the stock Wrangler wheels, my Chrome Clad are tacky, got to rid myself of them soon.

Finally did the cargo light mod! Makes a huge difference. Cleaned up a little after the pic.

I absolutely love the cargo area LED mod. I'm so happy with the results. It should be like that from the factory. I showed my father and he wanted me to do it in his Ford Escape
