Nope, but you could get a locking cap if you wanted.

Got some good and bad news today about the WK reared, apparently nothing was failing in the rear axle, though the carrier and pinion bearings were pretty wore so I had them replaced while it was apart. Apparently the front driveshaft is bent just a bit and has caused the cv joint by the transfer case fail. A rebuild kit is about $105 plus labor, so that's fun!
I'll keep you guys posted on what the final fix is!

Unfortunately no, I was leading the group through where the good shots would be because I was one of a few that knew the area. But now I am saving up for a suspension overhaul (HD springs, UCAs, MLLs, Track bar...) after seeing The other WK there with the modified OME lift i gotta have it. I live 30 mins from that area so I will be running it again once that's done assuming it is dry.

My rear diff is pretty noisy right now and I'm not looking forward to finding out what's causing it.

Mine was a loud gear grinding sound... Apparently it is very easy to misinterpret where the gear grinding sound is coming from... I'm decent at diagnosing issues, it stumped me, 3 buddies, and 2 mechanics lol

As for the bearings in the rear, I'll post the totals as soon as I have the bill ;(

Doesn't sound like grinding on mine. More like a failing wheel bearing type noise but it varies with the throttle.

Drove home after the game last night, had a few things happen. First was check engine light came on. About 40 miles later Evic message saying service electric brake system. Pulled the codes: uo184, po113, u1408, uo151, p20c1, c107c. Going into the dealership tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Yea I'm almost positive it's in the diff because it got louder after switching from Amsoil to Royal Purple and I've heard plenty of bad wheel bearings.

Order a new hood strut and a set of information center buttons since mine hit the dust. Once I get the parts in I'll prolly wrong by the autozone to get aftermarket struts for the lift gate seeing as mopar doesn't have the replacements for them on their website

In your case I think so!

I would have made the same bet on mine... Turns out, I was WAY wrong. He discovered today that my front driveshaft CV has come apart, we are rebuilding it tomorrow so I'll let you guys know how it goes... Apparently bad front driveshaft CV = strange noise in rear driveline! Who knew?

Got my liftgate struts on eBay for about $30. Same ones as Advance ("Strongarm"). The same seller has the hood ones, i think. Shipped in about a week (or less).
