Haha I'm not sure what's failing but it has a nice growl (little gear on gear action) when I let out to the throttle. Sounds to me like pinion or carrier bearing but idk, I didnt want to tear it apart and not know how to fix it lol. The guy I took it to has fixed exert axle I've ever destroyed, I trust him to do it right!

Install time! (almost)

Looks like Tuesday or Wednesday is my big day (whichever I can get some free time, and it certainly won't be durin Superbowl weekend). Everything's arrived. The Matrix and Front Guard skid plate aren't in the picture and just came in, and I've been waiting for them to arrive to put everything on. Time to make an addition to the khaki group.

My short-term memory is not as sharp as it used to be.

Would you believe I thought of it all by myself? You and AJeepZJ have such great looking khaki WK's, I couldn't help but emulate them in some ways. I was thinking about painting the black parts (sides of the mounting platform and hoop) on my Matrix graphite and keeping the middle silver. I don't think I've seen anyone do that. Not sure yet though.

I'll concede it may take me 2 days lol. And if beer and friends are involved, 3 days. It was tough letting everything accumulate this last month. But My TPM Sensors didn't arrive till last week, and I knew none of this would look as good if I didn't have my lift and wheels on. It kept me at bay.

Would you kindly tell me where you got those "decorations"?

It took me a while to find them as well. Digging around in these forums I noticed a few guys had them. Most of them with a custom ORT badge sandwiched in the middle, but I don't know how I felt about extra badges just yet, I wanted to see how the fender decal looked by itself first.

You've got to contact him (Nathan) and let him know what you want. It seems to me it was fairly common enough that he knew what I was talking about right away.
