Took my son out to Ocotillo Wells OHV area and played around a little bit. Chased the Osperys around as they buzzed us overhead doing exercises. What a blast. Never thought I'd get the jeep half as far as I did on street tires.

Maybe so, but I'm happy either way!

Got the Transmission fluid/transfer case fluid changed. Went and got the Spark plugs to do myself, then realized I need the wires. Can I get these at a generic auto parts store? Got to do the diff fluids too. Anyone know exactly what to buy (3.7L QT1 I believe) to save me the trouble of searching for it?

Don't post here much, but I've been lurking for a long while. Also got my OME MD kit in, MOAB wheels (and spacers and paint), 265/70/17 Duratracs, Rola roof rack and rear tail light guards in this last week or two. Plus a few decals. Ordering a brush guard and front skid plate next week too. Haven't put anything on yet. Wanting to get my basic maintenance done first and then I'll put everything else on in one sitting. You guys have been great, reading through all the builds and gathering up ideas and things I like.

When I first joined the forum someone shared this link with me, I reference it for everything maintenance related!

Geeze is that it? Haha, wow you have quite the build ready to go. You should take a picture of all of the toys being ready to be installed.

After discovering I had a headlight go out I decided I was going to give the Sylvania zXe Silver Star bulbs a shot. I mean the Jeep deserves the beat right? The lights are Xenon fueled and 100 percent DOT and street legal. At $60 for the pair I was nervous, but after they were installed I have no regrets.

Ordered a raptor lining kit to spray all the black moulding pieces! Hopefully it's next weekend's project.

Thanks for the link!! Very interesting reading and this guy is absolutely right!! I've been driving for a living for 25 yrs and have tried to explain to people what my observations are for lighting and night driving but I can't articulate it like he does. WOW! He has lots of technical and valid information....
