Now that brings back some memories right there. I remember my dad doing this for me and my brother back in the day. He would pull us around trails up north in his lifted bronco. Sometimes one sled, sometimes two. Two sleds was always a blast trying to roll the other guy over. good times.

Haha yeah my sleds were at my buddies house but we had that plastic snow mobile that my son rode on, he's only 6 so we had to take it easy but the whole time he yelled at me to go faster! Hopefully we get more snow soon and we can do it again!

Yep that was me asking about the plates. I wonder how important it is to have them and I'm debating if I should get in contact with them and try to buy them separately.

Do you know where they were supposed to go and what their purpose is? I just ran out to the garage to double check that I didn't miss anything in the packaging; they're not in there.

They're supposed to go in this order from the bottom to the top: Shackle mounts > unibody > sandwich plates and then the bolt through all three things. They're purpose is to strengthen the mounting system and spread the force across those two bolts inside of the actually frame. I hope that makes sense, I can try to explain it better if it doesn't haha. It's really easy to visualize so I can check to see if I have any picture tomorrow.

Edit: PM me so we don't clutter the thread.

Bob what kind of dog is that? Almost looks like an English setter, we have a couple of them.

As for what I did to my wk.. I went mall crawling. I was scared to scratch it. I backed into a snow drift in the other one and put a scratch in the bumper.

She is a Great Dane, she was laying down in the back watching my son sled out the window haha. Here are a few better pics of her, she LOVES the jeep! She goes to the garage every time she sees me put my shoes on.

Thanks! She has to lay down, otherwise her back is rubbing the roof (which I have to vacuum regularly ). That's a good looking dog you have, I love seeing people take their dogs in their jeep, she is actually the reason we went from a TJ to the WK.
