No problem. It took me awhile to find it (lowes and Home Depot didn't have it) but I got
it at a sears hardware store. It's the 3/4" size. Most seem to use the smaller 1/2".

Thanks for the kind words.

Yes! Transmission is now out of limp mode.

Of course I always get bad luck when fixing things so the sensor part of the old plug broke off inside the hole. I had to drill it out which kinda bored the hole a bit. Oh well I guess I was peeved but it's all good now... For now anyways

Yeah I definitely like the look of 3/4 inch better. Do you know how big the actual sheet was? Like 12" x 48" or something ?

I'll do you one better and show you the actual picture. 24" x 24". I bought two sheets in case I messed up and then I wanted to try and tackle the lower grille as well. It's really annoying me down there. I haven't really tried to fab something up but you've reminded me again on how much I hate the opening down there, haha.

Oh today, I swapped out my $15 eBay catch can with a Billet Technology one that I've had laying around for close to 6 months. I have a whole bunch of their underhood goodies that I need to put on as well.

image-118405986.jpg

In case anyone is wondering: Billet Technology is having a 40% off sale tomorrow from 12-1 pm est. 35% off from 1-2 est and 25% off from 2 pm on.

Would be an ideal time to pick up any of their stuff that you've been wanting.

When I bought my stuff months ago, I think I had a 30% off or something.

Their shipping charges are exceptionally high though.

Here's the link to the sale and coupon codes.

I can't tell from the pics...also, would any of their wheel center caps fit moabs?

Awesome, thanks! Yeah I've also been toying with that idea too. Here's a link to a how-to I found but it's for an '08: http://www.**********.org/f187/how-t...8-wk-2679.html

I kinda like the idea of 3/4 inch for the grill going vertically and doing something like 1/2 inch going horizontally for the lower valence. Good luck, lemme know how it goes!

Edit: replace ******** with jeep garage

In the picture above, I have mine held in by a zip tie and the hoses. Around some random skinny pipe that I have no idea what it does. It held my eBay catch can pretty sturdy for all of those months.

I was looking at their brackets but I'm going to just get a bolt or something and mount it to the strut bar or firewall. In all honesty, it's pretty secure the way I have it right now.

I also might just fab up a random piece of steel like Omelet did with his. No way I'm spending $20+ on one of their mounts. I'm thinking about their braided hoses but you can see like an inch of the hoses if you keep the engine cover on, so I don't know if it's worth it or not.

Thanks jjt

So I've been talking to the owner of ablaze grilles hoping they had one for 05-07s but they don't. I think it might be too hard to make one myself bc I can't find a single sheet wide enough. I'm going to take the measurements and give them to him. Maybe we can get a group buy going or something?

Yea I'm thinking a $5 bracket from lowes would suffice...i don't keep my cover on so I'm contemplating the nicer hoses but don't think they're worth the money. I'm prob going to get a catch can and the whole under the hood kit, and maybe the throttle body cover
