When they're all squared away I was gonna ask Marlin about a group buy or maybe a promotional price for JF members or something.

The price is the main reason I haven't gotten them already, so if there was a gb, I'd be in!

How do we tell if the ball joints are going? I've had my lift on for like 12,000 miles.

Blizzboy, I saw a picture of your expanded metal grille and loved the way it came out. Exactly how I want to do mine. Care to shine some light on where you got your supplies? Did you paint it? Also, do you have any other pics? Thanks!

Disconnect them an then move them around if they are loose and do go back when you flick them they are bad. I don't know a better way to explain it like if you move them one way and they dont reset to where they are then they are bad they are suppose to reset.

It was one of those things that didn't come out right the first time I did. I'm kind of the off ball here in that I like my chrome! Everyone seems to hate chrome on this forum but I keep adding it, haha. I got chrome interior paint from autozone. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...ntifier=469577. I put a few coats on and being afraid that it would rust, I sprayed some clear on it. It turned out like crap and just looked silver and was rusting. I had it like this for a few weeks. I believe this is a photo of when it was like that.

Anyway, I didn't like it so I just figured I'd spray 3 more coats of the chrome on it and see how it would hold up. Well several months later it hasn't be rusting and I like the way it turned out. Who knew interior trim paint would work? Here's some more photos of it.

Thanks man! I think they're okay right now but I'll probably have to replace at some point.

Thank you very much! I agree with you, I like some chrome on my jeep. You grill makes it look very classy. Couple more questions, where'd you get the expanded metal and what size sheet did you use? Very nice looking jeep!

Use a pry bar and try to lift the UCA up at the bj. There should be no movement at all. My driver's side had about .15" of play and when I took it apart the bj was just flopping around.
