got flak from my coworkers that my jeep's appearance is not reflective of my new position and pay grade. i just think it's isn't muddy enough:

Got the estimate to fix my jeep where I hit the deer. It hurt my feelings when the body shop said $2000.

2000 including fixing the radiator? There's no way that's 2 grand in damage just on body work...looks like all you really need is a new bumper for a couple hundred plus paint for a couple hundred...how bad is the radiator?

I hit a deer a few months ago, it was a $3600 estimate. Good news is that most insurance companies are easy to get additional funds if more damage is discovered during the repairs.

Who knows. I know the man at the body shop though so I know he's not making it up. My hood looked to be a little bent up over my lights if you look closely, so God only knows what all has to be fixed. Let you know after I get it back with the receipt.

From certain angles the hoods look bent up I believe bc of the gap over the headlights...I'd just pocket that insurance money shad leave the hood how it is. I once thought mine was bent but that's just how they are bc mine was never in an accident

Just received an E-mail from Marlin at JBA, should have a revised set of UCAs at my door tomorrow. They're sending them out with no finish for the test fit. If all goes well they'll make me another set all perty with the red powder coat.

Are they changing their design? In what way?

Yes, they're pushing the bj farther out to eliminate the rubbing some have experienced when the Jeep is on uneven ground. I should have time to install them on Sat. After I get an alignment on Sun I'll start a new thread and post some comparison pics of the OEM, old JBA, and New JBA. I need to take a bunch of pics for Marlin anyway so I'll post em up when it's done.
