We aren't abandoning jeeps, check my sig. She'll be with out one for a year or two and then get another. I'll put it in the FS here as it's a very nice one. Somebody is going to get a great vehicle reasonable. I wish I could afford to keep it and sell my WJ.

I've been a lurker on this site for a while now but recently I added some AEV Pintler wheels w/ General Grabbers and a 4xGuard front skid. Next mods will be adding a backup battery, BT catch can, quick drain valve for the oil and a 4xguard matrix. I'm still unsure if I want a lift or not.

Texas:
$3.27/gal for regular unleaded.
$3.79/gal for diesel.

Two years ago, Diesel was $.15/gal less than gas. Now it's $.52/gal more. *mutter*

3.16/gallon around here with 3.80 for diesel I believe. I was filling up the take the other day and some guy asked if her could use the pump in the same lane for diesel. I said go ahead. Apparently diesel was $4.57 there since it was near a large trucking/mining area in Kentucky.

I got the same thing. There's a lot about it here on JF. Heres a pretty good thread. There's a TSB on this too.

Installed the right upper control arm today. Much more snug, but theres still some sort of occasional rattling when I go over a large bump, coming from the front right. Not sure what it is, but all the bolts and nuts are nice and tight. Also had my 265/70-17s mounted. Had to run across the street to advanced auto and buy some wheel spacers because the ball joint end was contacting the tire. Then the guys in the shop took a sawzall to the bolt end and now its got quite a bit more clearance.

I never thought I was going to want a lift but if you spend enough time here then I guarantee you will be swayed. The jeep is totally different after installing a lift and looks so much better with one.

I went with the OME HD lift, which is probably the most popular lift on here.

That looks really good!

Once I get ready to buy new tires I might think about a lift. I'd hate to lift it and have the stock tire size for 40-50k miles.
