It was $200 including tax and was done in one business day. I had my doubts about how it would turn out, but that was put to bed as soon as I saw the end results. After the "after"photo was taken, I hit the seat with some leather cleaner and conditioner so now the sheen of the new section matches the rest of the seat just right. I am more than happy I decided to do this to my WK!
Did they replace it with leather or use vinyl again?

Drove it even though sensor is still messed up. Extremely bummed that I couldn't take it to pigeon forge with me. Wanted to take some pictures. Revs do have a <2500 limit, 45mph limit, and seems to be stuck in 3rd gear. Part is only $16 anyone know how to figure out which sensor is bad?

Cost being a factor I did ask what would it take to do the repair with leather out of curiosity and was told it would have been more like $400. I had them use vinyl because its durability and plus I was hopeful by doing so that the repair would match better. It was messed up when I bought it by the PO They patched it and painted it to match so I didn't even notice it at first. All I saw was the HEMI under the hood. Oops! Either way me being in a wheelchair I tend to put a lot of wear on that spot myself. So I will likely have to do the repair again someday.

Also put this sticker on my buddy made me at his sign shop. I was disappointed he didnt think to put "grand" in there, but it was a nice gesture regardless. I'll probably have him make another sticker in smaller size that says "grand" to put above the "cherokee". Gonna leave it there for a week and see if i like it. He also made me ones that say "DUBICON" in the rubicon font i thought was pretty hilarious.

Yea I just couldn't justify spending money on that one from s4xc, the WK crossrails are metal and sturdy anyway

ordered some new bulbs for my rig. My current ones seem to be getting the dull yellow look with age (almost 7 yrs old). They are supposed to come by the end of the week.

Went with
Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra 9005 (hi)
Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra 9006 (lo)
Optilux Xenon Yellow H10 (fog)

Changed the o-ring's on the rear axle. I was going to have the dealer replace them because I don't have as much spare time since the new addition to the family arrived, they wanted 269 per side lol. I squeezed some time to replace them at that price. 600 bucks is ridiculous, 10 bucks for the 0-rings and the rest labor lol. I guess its been so long since I paid anyone to do something, but that just seems nuts. The parts guy said there is more to it than I think after I asked why so much. I guess they give that speech to everyone so they will just pay them to replace things.
