got a spare tire (BFG Mud terrain) never used, $125 local. i have been running 4 255/75-17's and the stock spare that i was not going to use. looking into some sort of custom tire carrier on the back but it must swing sideways, or just an omelet mod and fit it under the back by cutting the hitch bolts. next is a superchips tuner, then 1.5" wheel spacers to replace my cheap .25" ones.

Got my (new to us) 06 XK back form the dealer today.
Broken exhaust manifold bolts. They agreed to fix it for
free if I bought the extended warranty. 3 year bumper
to bumper, unlimited milage, and free rental. With 67k
on it, I'm sure the warranty will get used. (has a ton of options)

When we do right, no one remembers. When we do wrong, no one forgets.

What are the symptoms of broken bolts?

A bad exhaust leak. You can't miss it.
Seems to be a common problem with
newer Chrysler engines...

Looks great! I like the sahara wheels.

Spent the day installing the KC's and the compressor

I don't know why the photos are rotating when I upload them...

Nice! I love that compressor and I know you will too Curious though, why mount it in the cargo area and take up space when you can mount it outside the Jeep? Those things are known to withstand and holdup against some serious weather and trail abuse!

I'll probably move it to under the hood eventually, but as of now I dont have a small enough drill (same problem you had I think). I'm toying with ideas of other places to mount it in the meantime. Any other ideas for mounting locations?
