Busy day for the WK yesterday – Got in touch with Kolak and ordered some Bilsteins for both my Jeep and fiancé’s Xterra, plus picked up a Daystar BB. Super excited about getting those installed. Have a week off from grad school next week and would like to cross this project off my list. Also installed a new PCV valve and tried to change out my EGR valve but don’t have the tools to get back in there.
On a kind of semi-Jeep related topic, I decided I was going to start working on finishing up my garage. The previous owner or builder installed sheetrock throughout the entire garage (minus the area above the garage door, about 4’ from door to ceiling) but only the back wall was started to be mudded and there’s quite a bit of aging on the drywall paper (yellowed). I picked up some tape and mud last and started in on that project. One wall is taped, and ˝ way mudded so not a bad start. I think I’m going to go with a light grey for the inside with maybe a black stripe around the wall where it meets the concrete (that will be epoxied, probably grey, this summer) or go with a 2 color theme, split around 4' off the ground.

I think that's the first lifted KK I've seen. Looks awesome. I would definitely drive one of those!

I think I'm the only guy that actually really likes the look of the KJ, especially when lifted.

Well see im not completely biased towards them, but I think they need ALOT of work to convince me. I've never seen one do anything challenging

Lol, dont let Tjkj see that, lol...
I dont care for the body style of the KJ's. I like the boxy KK's, but they look like baby XK's... But the XK having more power, 4x4, and additional options. Lifted, both kk's and Kj's look pretty awesome, and im pretty sure they have compareable if not better approach, departure, and breakover angles... And as far as the 3.7L comparisons to the WK and Xk'... They will have a better weight to power distribution... Even thougg we dont weigh too much more than them. But KJ's do have more aftermarket support and I've seen them perform some pretty crazy stuff... They have a strong presence outside the US.

Very true. Our KK is a heavy s.o.b. 5675lbs GVWR. Our WK comes in at 6100lbs GVWR. Not sure what the actual weight of the rigs are off the top of my head but still.
BTW AJ - appreciate the compliment earlier! Thanks.
I know it isn't the best pic or as contrasting as some others, but it's the first side by side I've come across since I got a phone that takes decent pics that I can upload. Snapped this this morning while out & about :

Just a question. I wanna pull the "Laredo" lettering off of the tailgate and put my last JTL6 badge there. Any tips on removal? And any clean-up?
