Matt, do you need a permit to drive on the beach out there. The only Beach Buggy access that I know of over here is Island Beach State Park and you have to get a seasonal permit to go on it. (And your probably the same distance from me as Island Beach).

"technically" i have a fishing permit.... im alloud to drive on a handful of beaches (6) but i have to be "prepared" to fish at any time.. i basically have to carry around bait and tackle and rods around with me for every one of my passengers.
everyone around here uses it for just beach driving.. even the park rangers know we get the permit just to off road and hang out and for the most part they dont care as long as we are respectful to those who do fish.... the pass is 65 bucks and its sold for the month of april only and is good until december 31st.
if they sell one day passes to island beach id love to shoot down there with ya for some off roadin..
heres a couple libs where i was today...

Yeah, Island Beach is the same way. You have to have rods and bait with you. I don't think they have day permits. Just seasonal Buggy permits. Haven't looked into it in a while though.
I'm hopin to head down to the Pine Barrens in a few weeks or so if you want to join in. No beach, but usually lots of mud.

Christened mine in blood today - changed the serpentine belt and EGR valve, leaving just enough flesh behind to make sure the gods know that it's mine now.
