I barely rub with my 255s.
Does anyone have to write up on the wheel well mod for the front?

I have a small write up in my build. Matt has a pretty good description of the process over at UJ.

Not changing to tire subject, but just wanted to say what I did to my (wife's) Jeep over the past week. Thanks to all the information I got from this forum I changed that SCM cancel cam, which stopped the steering wheel from clicking. Also bought a Dremel and replaced the rubber part of the trans cooler lines. Used power steering hose instead of trans or fuel line b/c it felt more like the trans hose, which O'reillys didn't have in stock. No more leaks. No just have to fix the famous clunk in the front end and she'll be good to go for a while, besides routine maint. Feels good working on my own vehicle.

Changed oil & filter; rear diff, and transfer case; looking for a 14mm allen wrench or socket so I can do the front diff.
One question on the transfer case. I drained less than a quart of fluid(red) from the transfer case and I basically didn't get close to a quart of fluid back in. Seems strange to me. The front was on ramps and I used a floor jack and stands to lower the rear to drain and raise to little above level in the rear to fill.
Looking at the manual, it says one speed transfer case use ATF+4, 2 speed use NV245/247. Did I use the wrong stuff or just better stuff than I needed with the NV245? I drove it home from the shop which is less than a mile, everything seemed to run fine.
