so i had my local shop install my front bilsteins (bc i didn't want to lose an eye using a spring compressor) and while they were in there i had them put on my new spring isolators and my rocky road front leveling spacer (which is supposed to equate to 9/16" lift)...and i ended up with 2" of lift (i had measured before and after from the ground to the wheel well in line with the axle)...i'm assuming that my rubber isolators were so worn out that replacement of those gave me that much of a lift? now my jeep isn't even level bc the front is higher than the rear the gap from the top of the tire to the wheel well is .5" greater in the front than the rear...do you think i should replace the rear spring isolators to get more lift in the rear to level it out????

Keep in mind the front wheel well is taller than the rear.

Finally replaced my egr valve. It took me the better part of 2 nights on this pos. for an encore, I attempted to replace the pcv valve and ended up seizing it

You just went from worn out stock shocks to pressurized shocks, so that is also some of the lift.

I have the bilsteins on the rear too and they didn't lift it at all when I put them on a couple weeks ago...I think the front looks too high for the rear now so I guess I'll try replacing the rear spring isolators to see what affect that has on the stance

90grandoneer has given me some good tips but I haven't freed it yet. The jeep is getting inspected tomorrow so I might just let them handle it. Can I do any damage driving it 5 or so miles like that?

i did this mod too but didn't notice any clear difference...i didn't use as heavy duty wire though so maybe that's why. i used what i had at the house which was like 16 gauge stranded wire if i remember correctly

I thought it did, but I hadn't driven the car in like 5 days so who knows.
I will say that replacing the egr and pcv appears to have upped my mileage. I got close to 16 city yesterday. That's by far an improvement with the lift and tires... heck that's a sizeable improvement over stock!
I'll see what the hwy mileage is today.
