I painted and installed the SOLID diff cover today. I painted it black since the factory color of it was somewhat grey. This bad boy holds over 4 quarts of fluid!!!

Pre Paint

Post Paint and post install

And I gotta represent

Thanks guys. It was hard holding it up to get the holes to line up right. This thing weighs 10 lbs and after a few minutes, it gets really heavy, lol.

Nothin like a work out while you wrench on the WK.
At 10 lbs that thing must be solid.

looks good. but im not sure you should have filled it that much. i heard over filling can cause problems just like under filling can. i only put a little more than what the stock one holds when i installed mine which is a little over 2 quarts i think.

Good job Matty, the trim bezel is painted. Used a plastic adhesion promotor then a cheap flat black spray bomb. I think it turned out pretty good. Not a big fan of the little chrome touches.

Thanks man! I'm refusing to drive it right now with the stock donuts on it, haha. It's sitting in my driveway out back with all of the wheels and tires in it, waiting for the 1" spacers to come.

That's a nice paint job. I think I'm one of the only ones here who likes chrome.

Actually I'm glad you mentioned that, I also thought the fill plug was a little too high because most people will keep filling until it basically reaches the bottom of that hole. And, even if you DO know how much you SHOULD put in, it will be hard to check with the hole that high. You obviously can't use the finger technique of seeing if it's close to the hole, because that would be a lot of fluid in there.
