Installed 1.25" spacers. No rubbing what so ever. Here's some before and after shots.

I never got an alignment. I finally get one next week. Yeah I know I'm stupid. But yeah, weird tire wear.

On Saturday I started to install my OME HD lift but couldn't get that pesky front bolt off.

So instead I did the expanded sheet metal mod. I painted it with interior chrome spray paint but putting a clear coat on top of it basically turned it to the unpainted color. Oh well, I might paint it black if it starts bothering me.

I also replaced the spark plugs and put in shorty wires and a chrome fuel door.

Looks nice! One of these days I will get around to doing my grill, probably once I finish my skid. And those are some good looking plugs Time for an intake!

Ok so I went to put my HID's in this weekend and ran in to some issues.. First one was the rubber O ring on the HID bulb was to fat and didnít want to go into the head light. Jeep put a black ring on the back of the head light that can be removed with three screws so i removed them and installed the bulb in to position. Now I put the ring back on and tightened the three screws down.. Now to install the fogs and that went well and as I started to install the bumper back on the bulb in the head light blew and I was like WTH? So I took took the bulb out and it was blown and all gray on the inside of the bulb.. Was this a fluke or did I do something wrong??

I ended up leaving the fogs in and put the old bulbs in the head lights.. DDM has a life time warranty....

Any details on your expanded metal you used?

Yeah I can't remember who told me about them It's a shame though. My engine bay is actually pretty clean except for under the engine cover. I'll need to to pop it back off and clean it up one of these days. I was a little tired after doing everything to clean that up too. I've had the AFE intake since about 3 days after I bought the car, haha. I just didn't want to put it on until I replaced the wires, plugs, egr, and cleaned the tb. I've got the plugs and wires done; now I just have to clean the tb and replace the egr. I also should pick up a new pcv.

I got it from Sears Hardware but its the same 3/4" sheet metal that you'll find at Home Depot. It's just about $2 cheaper at Sears Hardware ($18.50 IIRC). The guy that did the write up got it from Lowe's but I couldn't find it there and two employees said they didn't have it.

I cut mine so that I had three pieces. Two of the pieces were three openings wide, and the last piece just covered the middle. I think it lined up better this way.

Is that antenna solid or can it bend if hit?
