New S4xC shackles. Which do you like better? Galvanized or black? Also added an AFE Stage 2 intake and prefilter a day later. Should be ready for winter if it ever snows!

Black shackles.

How do you like the AFE?

Nice color on the WK.

Hey, thanks. Took me while, but I got some better pics up now. I really like the AFE. I had a K&N drop in filter before, so I didn't notice an immediate difference, maybe a bit more growl. But the more I've driven it, the more I like it, and the more I'm in the gas hard off stop lights. The biggest difference is at wide open throttle. Makes it that much more fun to drive.

No offense, but you wouldn't catch me using that group 3(semi) sythetic oil or a Purolator oil filter. At least Mobil 1 and at least a NAPA Gold/Wix filter. I am not to familiar with the oil requirement on 4.7, But if you can, run at least a 5W30 instead of 20. I went to the 5w40 Mobil 1 ESP M vs 5w30ESP for my MB CRD.

Yeah, I think I'd eventually like to get an AFE stage II but for now I have a K&N drop in in both our Jeeps. Figure it's the least I can do as far as intake stuff.

BTW - are you posted in the Red WK club?

I purchased the AFE intake from Kolak, but went direct to AFE for the prefilter. I never asked Kodak if he could get prefilters, and since it was an afterthought, I just went direct. I remember AFE being very fast with shipping, something like 4 days. Was pretty pleased with them. See link below.

I have a 5.7 and 5w20 is the recommended weight. Oil is oil in my eyes. The only time i see specific oil needing to be used is in aviation.
