About to start cleaning.
Had club run Friday night, went into glasshouse mountains at 5pm, wheeled though till 9pm (little red, powerlines track), one of the XJ's on the trip got halfway up Big red and blew the front locker (this we only found out later) and the driveline locked up. Only way out was up!
5 Hrs of winching later, we made it out of Big red, pulled the front shaft and got the XJ rolling in 2wd again. The warn magnum on my truck didnt miss a beat throughout!
Got home at 4am the next morning (kids got up at 5am ) then slept for 16 hrs last night.
If only someone had a camera with them!
Dave

Rear air and front lokka (lunchbox style). The XJ just stopped and wouldnt drive the wheels, very little noise. About half way into the pull it made a large snap noise and at least then the wheels would roll. We think with both ends locked when the front let go it just bound up completely.
Have camera on phone, just no flash took a couple and it was as if i was taking photos of the starry sky .....
Was a top night, total distance pulled was around 45m, used 4 snatch blocks, 2 other XJ's as land anchors, and had to run the lines around a burned out wreck in the RHS track we didnt see so it would cut the rope!
I havent bush walked so much till i started off roading

Haha, yeah, but where i had to be positioned i was lighting up the tree tops!
I need to get moving on one of those LED lightbars, HID's are great but even the spread beam is nowhere near as good as the LED bars.
