Egr valve is part of the emissions system. Part was 79.99 and if your not handy around a vehicle you may take a little longer. I'm a mechanic so it's an easy job.

It's a maintenance item on the jeeps

Did you get the g2 kit?

Do you have a write-up of how to do it?

I replaced the gas spring that holds up the hood with a “strong-arm” unit. Unfortunately, I purchased it while sitting upstairs in my PJ’s and didn’t realize I only needed one. Have an extra one if someone’s in the area and has $10, haha…

I also started working on a front shackle mounting system. It’s loosely based off the one everyone around here has, but with some slight modifications. Test fit the 1:1 pattern last night and after a slight adjustment, should be ready for the laser cutter. Will probably be finished after Christmas/New Years break so updates to come.

Too bad I'm not closer because I would take that off your hands. I've been using a golf club to hold my hood up.

Drove it across the city last night in evening rush hour and rain to pickup what would have been a great Craigslist find: front, back, and cargo HuskyLiners all for $75! Seller said they came out of an '08 GC. Well, it was a complete waste of time and fuel - they didn't fit. Don't know what the seller is smokin but those didn't come out of an '08 WK. Couple hours of my life and time I'll never get back!

Oddly enough I will be in Denver on Sunday and will be in Silverthorn for the week. Don't know what your plans are, but I can bring it along.

Ordered some ARB 3/4" shackles for my custom front end rescue points. Picked them up from Quadratec.

Picking up all additional necessary hardware after work.

Sure I'll buy it from you then. I will be around and I live close to I-70 so it will be easy to meet up.

Rotated my tires. washed and vacuumed her, tightened my 4xGuard RG2 and had to pull off the 4xG front, grill, and bumper just to take off my aftermarket head lights and put back in my OEM's.
