Went to the post office and on my way out the door caught a guy in a JK snapping a pic of my WK in the parking lot.

Quickly strung some xmas lights on the roof after work. Problem is I don't have the bars to make it a full square so I just ran it across. Have a feeling they're going to drive me crazy on the highway. Probably will end up taking them off and just separating 2 sets to their own side.

Replaced my starter. What I thought was an hour job quickly turned into 4 hours. I was more stressed with this starter then i was putting the lift on my jeep haha Hope this new one holds up because I DO NOT want to have to do that a second time!!

I don't have a rear outlet but my inverter is small and fits in front of the ebrake handle. Cord goes right under the seat into the back.

Right now I have 2 sets. Should I be concerned with the connection being up top?

I'm probably going to separate the sets and just run them on the bars, but just curious.

Also, has anyone had any issues with the police with them on?

So I went to the dealer to pick up my WK today and noticed that they built up a JK-8. I talked the the rep for a bit while checking it out and the gave it a quick test drive. This thing is sweet! And the new driveline makes it worlds better than the older setup with the mini van engine! They are offering the conversion as a kit (as many know) but they decided to build one up to catch some attention for those who have no clue. Anyways, I snapped a quick pic:

Are you talking about the two sets of lights connecting? If they're indoor/outdoor lights you should be fine. Maybe throw some electrical tape around the connection if you're concerned and make sure the set-up is secured real well - alot of air passes over the top of the rig. As far as the cops - I haven't had any issues.

Cool. That is just begging to be filled with recovery gear, and winch, and hit the trails! What kind of lift is on that?
