Hahaha!!! Ya I have been wanting to color match my headlights for a long time. I just couldn't bring myself to go through all that trouble on a set I knew I wasn't going to keep. Not that I couldn't sell them to another Khaki guy, but that's a lot of work to just sell and do again!

Speaking of witch, are there any Khaki WKs out there that anyone has seen with the 08+ headlights?

Omelet - Does the Disney Princess box have anything to do with your "plan of attack?" LOL
Trust me, I have two daughters - this is not unfamiliar to me.

Hahaha!!! Dude too funny! I actually saw that when I was taking the picture and shifted so it wasn't as noticeable. Oh, and NO it is not in the plans!

Yep I still have a little bit. Contemplating putting some in the new housings for a cool affect. Not circles like halos though! Why is it taking so long for you to get those things? Where did you buy them from?

i would suggest starting off by sanding all of the chrome completely off on the parts you plan to paint! fine grit sanding block worked best when i did it.

Two steps ahead of you my friend, but thanks! The reflector is already painted and just waiting on the side marker. I'll post a pic later.

Here she is sanded and prepped:

After paint and clear:

The side reflector/marker is just popped back on for now, but I have some special plans for it My plan for the paint scheme was to accentuate the round headlights by color matching everything else to the Jeep. I think it is working well. I am not a fan of painting everything like it seems most have done. I want to keep the basic look and just accentuate the lamps like a true Jeep with big round lights!
