Homecoming parade today for girlfriend's student organization. We got 2nd place in the student org division.

It was for Student Wisconsin Educators Association and the theme was School of Rock, so the drums were an apple, there were two people standing at the marker-microphone stands with big ruler guitars, then someone dressed like a warhawk (school mascot) as the lead singer.

I think it looked good for such a small budget. Obviously the WK is what won it.

I did learn that riding the brakes/idling/going 3mph nets you about 6 mpg. (I'm 10% off). Was down to 5.1 but by the time I got to the end I was back up to 5.4.

Drove into a parking garage for the first time since swapping my antenna for a 4' firestick. I was watching my roof rack through the sunroof and almost took out a whole string of flourescent lights with the antenna.

Washed it today since it was fairly nice out. Starting to get pretty cold pretty quick.

Changed my plugs due to rough idle and shifts. Found one on each cylinder was a platinum and one was copper. Amazing how **** runs with the right stuff!!

Today I took care of a little beauty mark that was more of an eye sore. I didn't go all out and do a professional job, because let face it, this won't be the last time! but it does look much better now and doesn't draw you eye anymore.

Before:

After:

I also decided to finally paint my washer fluid tank. Without the inner fenders it was quite noticeable and it was annoying me. I painter it flat black, but I left one strip so I can still see the fluid level.

Now I am finishing up my last project of the day...

Were you able to buff that scratch out on your bumper? I have one like that on my front bumper, and I'm planning on clay barring/ waxing her this weekend
